Every decision we make is in the best interest of the reptiles in our care, ensuring they have the best chance of finding a permanent, safe habitat. While you may be drawn to the appearance of a specific reptile, it’s important to remember that their personality and needs must align with your environment and lifestyle. Just like with reptiles, every creature has unique behaviors and preferences.
Therefore, it’s crucial to understand two things:
(1) Our process is consistent for all, ensuring fairness and thoroughness, and
(2) Our goal is not to frustrate you, but to find the best fit for both you and the reptile.
With a high success rate in rehoming reptiles, we take great pride in our program’s standards. Our ultimate priority is securing a happy, thriving future for every reptile in our care.
Once you’ve submitted your online adoption application, one of our team members will reach out to you ONLY IF YOU ARE APPROVED to meet the reptile you’ve applied for. We will contact you as soon as possible if we believe the reptile is a good match for your home and environment. Our goal is to ensure a perfect match, so patience is appreciated as we carefully assess each fit.

Meet Puck – $50
Puck was hit by a car, skidding across the road like a hockey puck. Puck is a full-grown male yellow-bellied slider, and we suspect he may have been a pet that was abandoned. When we first found him, he was severely dehydrated and had road rash, but he’s come a long way since then. After about five months together, he’s become very comfortable. He eagerly eats anything offered and loves lounging on his rock to bask. He’s truly a beautiful turtle who is just looking for his forever home. Can that be you?
Meet Hotdog- $50
Meet Hotdog, a 6-year-old male leopard gecko with the sweetest personality and a whole lot of heart. This gentle boy has non-progressive MBD and a history of Vitamin A deficiency, but he’s stable, thriving, and ready for a committed forever home. Hotdog is a true sweetie pie—calm, tolerant, and easy to adore. He will need ongoing support, including Vitamin A Plus monthly, along with regular calcium and multivitamin supplementation to keep him feeling his best. Meet Kevin, a 3-year-old Russian tortoise (originally thought to be a female Hermann’s) who was recently surrendered to Petco and is now safe in our care. Kevin is an absolute sweetie pie with a calm, friendly personality and a curious nature that makes him a joy to be around. He’s currently undergoing deworming treatment and will be available for adoption once he receives a negative fecal result. This little explorer will make a wonderful companion for someone ready to give him a loving, permanent home!

Ember is a sweet, gentle male bearded dragon currently on medical hold as he completes treatment for coccidia — but he’s absolutely worth the wait. This handsome boy is Adenovirus positive (asymptomatic) and will need to be the only dragon in the home to keep him healthy and thriving.
