We’re Here to Help.

Surrendering your beloved family member is tough, so we want to make it easy. We understand the emotional weight of this decision and are here to support you every step of the way. Our team is dedicated to providing a compassionate and stress-free process, ensuring that both you and your pet feel cared for. Whether it’s helping with the logistics, offering guidance, or connecting you with resources, we are committed to making this transition as gentle as possible for your family. Your pet’s well-being is our priority, and we are here to help them find a safe and loving home.

See the steps to surrendering your pet below. Please note: A minimum surrender fee of $50 is required to help cover the costs associated with the care and rehoming of your pet. If the fee is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss possible options. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible for you and your pet.

**Due to capacity limitations, A Shedding Chance Reptile Rescue Inc. is no longer accepting surrendered reptiles. Additionally, due to a high volume of surrenders and low adoption rates, we will no longer be accepting the following species: Slider Turtles (Red Eared Sliders, Yellow Bellied, etc.), or Sulcata Tortoises. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out to local rescues, animal control, or your exotic vet for further assistance. Feel free to complete a surrender form, but please note that there is a two-month wait time.

Press the surrender button and fill out the google form. You will need to answer every question fully and provide pictures and videos of the animal you wish to surrender.

This form helps us gather important information about your reptile’s needs and history, allowing us to provide the best possible care. Thank you for considering our rescue; your cooperation helps us continue our mission of saving and re-homing reptiles in need.

Please email us at asheddingchance@gmail.com if your surrender request is urgent.

All medical cases go first, then healthy animals. We assign an available foster to your scaly friend and reach out via email or phone. Then we set up a pickup time.
