Process
Every decision we make is in the best interest of the reptiles in our care, ensuring they have the best chance of finding a permanent, safe habitat. While you may be drawn to the appearance of a specific reptile, it’s important to remember that their personality and needs must align with your environment and lifestyle. Just like with reptiles, every creature has unique behaviors and preferences.
Therefore, it’s crucial to understand two things:
(1) Our process is consistent for all, ensuring fairness and thoroughness, and
(2) Our goal is not to frustrate you, but to find the best fit for both you and the reptile.
With a high success rate in rehoming reptiles, we take great pride in our program’s standards. Our ultimate priority is securing a happy, thriving future for every reptile in our care.
Once you’ve submitted your online adoption application, one of our team members will reach out to you ONLY IF YOU ARE APPROVED to meet the reptile you’ve applied for. We will contact you as soon as possible if we believe the reptile is a good match for your home and environment. Our goal is to ensure a perfect match, so patience is appreciated as we carefully assess each fit.

Meet BellaBall – $50
BellaBall is a 9-year-old female ball python with a calm and gentle nature. Once a bit shy, she’s blossomed into a snake who now genuinely enjoys being handled and spending time with people. Could you be the special human to give BellaBall the forever home she deserves?
Meet Puck – $50
Puck was hit by a car, skidding across the road like a hockey puck. Puck is a full-grown male yellow-bellied slider, and we suspect he may have been a pet that was abandoned. When we first found him, he was severely dehydrated and had road rash, but he’s come a long way since then. After about five months together, he’s become very comfortable. He eagerly eats anything offered and loves lounging on his rock to bask. He’s truly a beautiful turtle who is just looking for his forever home. Can that be you?
Meet Benny – $50
Meet Benny, a 5-year-old male ball python with a heart as warm as his scales! This gentle guy loves being held, exploring the great outdoors (safely, of course), and turning your arms into his personal jungle gym. Benny is looking for a forever home with someone who enjoys spending quality time with their scaly companion. Meet Larry – $50
AVAILABLE 8/11/2025 – Meet Larry, a male leopard gecko estimated to be between 4 and 7 years old. Larry has faced some challenges due to a past vitamin A deficiency, which left him visually impaired and one hemipene down. Despite this, he’s a sweet, spunky, and sassy little guy with a big personality! Larry is quite small for his age and requires assistance with syringe or tong feeding. He’ll thrive in a home that can provide ongoing support, including proper supplementation, to prevent his deficiency from returning. Meet Clover – $50 – PENDING
AVAILABLE 7/28/2025 – Meet Clover, a sweet female bearded dragon estimated to be between 2 and 5 years old. She was found wandering in someone’s backyard, and after an unsuccessful search for her original home, she was safely brought to us. Thankfully, Clover is in great health and has a calm, people-loving personality. She’s a gentle girl who enjoys attention and is now looking for a forever home to call her own. Clover will be available for adoption once her quarantine period is complete—if she sounds like the perfect companion for you, be sure to submit an application!
Meet Hot Pocket – $50 – PENDING
AVAILABLE 8/11/2025 – Meet Hot Pocket; a 4-year-old bearded dragon and total stud muffin! He’s super handleable, loves attention, and has a big personality packed into a scaly little body. Whether he’s lounging on your shoulder or exploring with curiosity, Hot Pocket is always up for an adventure. With proper care, he’ll make an amazing companion for reptile lovers of any level.
Meet Fiji – $50 – PENDING
Fiji is a 3-year-old female iguana who was sadly found abandoned on the streets of New Britain. When she arrived, she was frightened and had a broken tail, which has since been amputated. She’s healing wonderfully and has developed into a friendly, active iguana who loves to munch on her greens. Fiji would thrive in a home with older children who can give her the care and attention she needs. Could Fiji be the perfect addition to your family?
Meet Darla – $50 – Coming Soon!
AVAILABLE 8/1/2025 – Meet Darla, a 4-year-old female leopard gecko with a heart of gold and a love for people. Darla is incredibly handleable and enjoys spending time out of her enclosure with her humans. She’s calm, curious, and always happy to say hello. Darla does require ongoing vitamin A supplementation to stay healthy, but she’s a cooperative girl and takes it like a champ. With the right care, she’ll make a wonderful companion for both new and experienced reptile keepers alike. If you’re looking for a friendly, easygoing gecko to share your life with, Darla might be your perfect match!
